The previous post is right, the road case in question is a lighting dimmer rack, the socopex connectors are attached to the dimmmers for three-phase power. The boxes above are a vga switcher, RGBS video distribution amplifier and an audio amp. This was a rack from the A/V company... hopefully my old employers, the cheap bastards. however, you can still blame it on Unysis if you have too.:)
I tried to convince my daughter that even when she talks in leet-speak to her friends on IMs, she should use proper diction and syntax. I said it would help her when she has to talk to a real person. The verdict is still out. My crusade continues.
In high traffic areas, even if they are secure there are always those who admire fine tool and utilities. I always kept what I called decoy tools about on the bench while my good set of precision tools lay in a recessed drawer under the counter out of site of the passerbys. I have also always kept on of those small zipper case for my personal faves.
I agree with the anti-troll remark. People dance with who brung them. I learned, actually learned Linux on Slackware. So, naturally I will stay with Slack until I find something better. Everything else is spy vs. spy. The more the merrier as far as support of distro/architechture. The good ones will rise to the top and other will just be left behind.
It is the line between functioning and not funtioning in your real life situations that would define you as an internet addict. I was a MUD addict, but functioning, I still went to work and took care of my kids. But, I still played 25-30 hours a week. My only saving grace was that the MUD ate itself under its own political weight. I still miss it, but never to the exstent I was before. Now I only read 10,000/. post in my spare time or when I think my job evaluation is too high.
In the world that Sun inhabits, most of the Linux they see is RedHat "Enterprise" server. That is Redhat's target market and hence ther reference.
He is not imply there is not just one Linux and that is RedHat, but the most frequent across his radar is the large server application using Redhat.
Anything other than that is probably just splitting hairs.
