    Looks to me like they will both eat Nintendos dust. While they have been working on l33t hardware nintendo is concentrating on innovative games and expanding the market.

    I agree. Hardcore gamers don't care about the price at all. They have plenty of disposable income. The hadcore gamers will line up at the door paying top dollar if the games as good. Once they buy theirs at the expensive rate the price will drop to a level where most people can afford it.

    Gaming is a luxury, it's like buying a titanium mountain bike.

    1) People don't buy windows, it comes with their system.

    2) It comes with their system because businesses buy it and people want to take work home.

    3) Businesses buy it because it is the only OS that runs their software.

    4) For an increasing number of businesses (3) is no longer valid.

    Yes the foundations of the windows monopoly is cracking. MS knows this too which is why they are so intent on diversifying as fast as they can and buying companies left and right.

    Symbols such as n could be very easiliy subsituted in MOST cases. I am not saying people shouln't ever see numbers I am simply saying that arithmetic should be de-emphasized, that's what calculators are for.

    If software companies didn't want people to pirate their wares they could stop it right now. Lots of companies use hardware keys for example.

    Surely there is one smart person at MS who can figure out a way to stop piracy.

    The reality is that MS wants people to pirate their sofware. Most software companies do. The ones that don't figure out a way to stop it.

    DO you think that people on TV mocking the "intellectual elite" as communist and terrorists has anything to do with that? Do you think that a president who speaks with a five year olds vocabulary so that "people think he is a regular joe" has something to do with that?

    In this day and age intellectualism is looked down on. If you know a lot of stuff you are supposed to keep it a secret.

    YOu really think a fired teacher can hire any kind of attorney? And what happens when you win the suit? Do you get your job back working for the same republitard who fired you? Do you get a few months of back pay of your awesome teachers salary?

    If you are low paid person like a teacher suing for wrongful termination just doesn't make any sense. Even if you won back wages you could not afford the lawyer. What lawyer is going to work for contingency of a ten or twenty thousand dollar case?

    I have always thought that you should never ever ever try to explain to people why Math matters or who you could apply it in general life. Math should be thought as something beautiful and poetic and all the more awesome became eventually people figure out that it could also be used in real life.

    My calculus teacher used to say that we teach math backwards, we start with numbers and then if you pursue it far enough end up with abstract algebra. It should be the other way around. We should start with abstract algebra and end up with numbers.

    Anyway Math is an art, it's a game, it's poetry it should be thought that way.

    What's amazing to me is that Google managed something Sun couln't with Java. Sun was unable to convince even one major hardware manufacturer to pre-load their version of the JVM.

    I wonder if that's because Google has more mojo then Sun or that MS is much weaker then they used to be.

    Since you are advocating for the murder of activists on your signature I naturally assumed that you had already killed a few. Was that a wrong assumption?

    Perhaps you are one of those people who cleans their gun everyday while harboring murder fantasies and hoping that one day somebody breaks into your house so you can kill them.

    People with murder fantasies to me are some of the sickest people on the planet. They think they want to kill but they don't have the guts to carry it out. They tend to be blowhard cowards.
