Or maybe Cisco is a big company and some dickwad engineering team cut corners, violated corporate security standards, and deserves to be fired. But won't be because without the ability to show intent they're just incompetent. I wouldn't attribute this to malice when incompetence is sufficient.

Or maybe this was a company Cisco bought which was already using this practice of using ssh to have access to the WSA when the customer called in a case so we CSEs could investigate issues remotely. Oh wait yeah thats right Ironport was bought by Cisco and this practice was in use before Cisco.

If the NSA has our ssh keys then I am not sure why they keep opening support cases with us. I work for Cisco and support the WSA. If this is so easy to intercept and steal the ssh private key from Cisco devices then why has it not already been done ? I have worked for Cisco for 5 years supporting this device and have yet to see anyone compromise the WSA. The SSH key is loaded for us CSEs to gain access to the back end of the OS which customers do not have access to. I understand the argument why is it a closed system ? Well we have enough customers that know enough to be dangerous to there devices. If customers had root access to the WSA they would try adding modules or removing them. Actions such as these would result in customer creating a ton of RMAs. I for one have wondered why we do not open it up to customers. But over the years I can now see why we do not.

I work for Cisco and support the WSA. The ssh keys are loaded onto the WSA in order to provide us access to the WSA which customers do not have access to. This has been done long before Cisco bought the WSA / ESA when it was previously Ironport. Also the NSA does not have the ssh keys or at least they keep calling us to access the WSAs they have to determine root cause analysis in regards to various issues.

LMAO ! Good one ! My experience which you describe Republicans of has been exactly what liberals are like when discussing various topics with. And while you spout it takes 5 minutes to debunk someone you can easily be debunked in less time. Information on the net can be very hard to prove or disprove. Your statement alone wreaks of liberal bias. Maybe some day you will be mature enough to handle someone who disagrees with your liberal bias. Oh wait you seem to use progressive alot as if that implies forward thinking.

LOL too funny! The whole issue as Im sure most here know is about money being sent back to Mexico. If you guys can believe this Mexican politicians are mad at AZ as they have said too many Mexicans are coming home!!!! I read this online and was completely taken by surprise by this statement and I had to do more research to see if it were true and walla there was video of Mexican politicians complaining about OUR laws. Mind you anyone who goes to Mexico can count on these laws being enforced on them: 1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools 2. All ballots will be in the nations language 3. All govt buisness will be conducted in the nations language 4. Non-residents will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are in Mexico. 5. Non-citizens will NEVER hold a political office. 6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. ( No welfare, food stamps, healthcare etc thats if the above 2 exist ). Any burden will be deproted. 7. Foreigners Foreingers can invest in the country but only if it is at least equal to 40000 times the daily minimum wage. 8. If foreigners buy land options are restricted. Certain parcels including waterfreont property are reserved for citizens. Hmmm my freind has a house on the ocean in Mexico and hes not a Mexican citizen so Im wondering how well this is enforced. 9. Foreigners cannot protest nor can they wave another nations flag in in protest, no political organizing, no bad mouthing the President or they will be deported. 10. If you do come to Mexico illegally you will be hunted down arrested and deported. All belongings wil be taken from you. Information provided by the Mexican consolate. Give them a call and ask for laws pertaining to Foreigners. There is much more than what Im quoting that will make you wonder what the hell we are doing.

The question is how can you possibly believe taxation in poor economic times is good ? Have you not read our history as to what causes prosperity ? The CBO and even the most ardent liberal professors have admitted that cutting taxes during hard times and cutting govt back has allowed the EARNERS ( You and I ) to keep more of what they earn. Those that keep what they EARN tend to spend more of what they ear even in hard times. I have yet to see a rich person scale down there lifestyle in order to be politically correct with economic times. Hey this is still a free country if you believe your taxation BS please feel free to give more of your hard earned money. But as far as for myself and others go the govt will get the end of my pitch fork if they want more. If you believe in govt I truly pitty you.
