    Of course, AT&T wasn't allowed to sell Unix until after its breakup. So what was its motive to push Unix inappropriately? Why did DARPA have Berkeley write software for the internet? Were the Algol-powered mainframes that secure, or were they never tested? According to your Burroughs link, the current Libra servers run MCP, Microsoft Widows, and Linux. Why not an Algol-based OS?

    Fair enough, but I'm still not holding my breath. We have not had a Constitutional Convention since 1787.

    I only cited the Constitution, I didn't quote it. I meant simply that getting rid of Congress (as opposed to its current members) would require amending the Constitution. As this requires Congressional approval, I'm not holding my breath.
