I joined for a few months then decided to no longer subscribe. They wouldn't stop charging my credit card each month though. I threatened to have my credit card company deal with them and they finally stopped, but this was several months after my initial request.
I probably am from your generation and I still dream of being a rock star. But it ain't gonna happen, so banging the toy drums to old rock tunes (and new rock tunes) lets me live the dream, in a way. It may be lame, but it's also fun.
I don't think we'll care much about life already being there, unless it's dangerous to us. Invading and taking over other cultures and their land is one of the activities we do.
It's becoming far more widespread and is so easy to fall prey to, so now all of us have to worry about it. If you're tech savvy you should be able to avoid getting caught, but grandma may not be that sharp, even if warned, and she's possibly got the most to lose.
It's bad enough at work listening to people chat while trying to think through some code. Having everyone around talking to their computer would be insane. This leads me to wonder how much voice commands will actually be used even when we perfect the technology.
