Iâ(TM)ve had to get some of the dimming film to darken the display on my clock radio because itâ(TM)s just too bright. A very dim nite lite in the bathroom helped too. Getting old is no fun.
Having been through one of these acquisitions (I work in the Semiconductor industry) the President had nothing to do with it. The FTC was involved and had to approve. Just more Trump bashing by CNN
Being "an old guy" I agree. Just because we can have things like push button start on a car, a cloud connected thermostat, or light switches doesn't mean that's what we SHOULD do. In a lot of cases I'll take a plain old regular mechanical switch, or rotary knob. Worked fine for many years and the substitute isn't necessarily better.
I don't think we need the Feds telling us what light bulb to use either. I've tried a number of CFLs and have yet had even one that lasts the 7 years they profess. I can't say I've seen any savings in my power bill, they just keep raising the rates. That coupled with the mercury, I just don't see how this can be better than a plain old regular bulb. I stockpiled enough regular bulbs to last me quite a while at this point. Just another part of the global warming BS.

Sadly, this has been my experience with Android in general. I gave up on it.
