    From the article for the reading impaired:

    "500,000 iPhones being snatched up during its launch weekend in 2007...500,000 units from 6 p.m. Friday through the close of business Sunday."

    So WP7 sold 40K in one day. They need to sell 460k in the next two days to match the iPhone.

    40k is a very very small number.

    Do you see how those figures for WP7 are weak?

    The simple fact the open source community has it's knickers in a bind because Java is not completely, 100% free of restrictions.

    The fact of the matter is Sun created Java and Sun watched over Java and protected Java. You remember Microsoft right???

    Do you seriously think that Java would have survived if Sun opened up Java from the start?

    Have you paid attention to what Microsoft has done to ODF and the way they pushed through their open document format through the EU process to get it to be a "standard."

    Where's the advantage to being open again?

    FYI businesses don't give a flying fuck if Java is open or not. They only care if their apps work. They only care if they can get the support.

    Right now Oracle ensures that happens.

    3. Which add $2 Trillion dollars to the deficit and not create one single job! Don't take my word for it, Alan Green Span and Reagan's budget director and 10 years of Bush's tax cuts have all demonstrated that tax cuts DO NOT CREATE JOBS.

    FYI Regan taxed ALL income the same.

    4. George W Bush pushed Fannie and Freddie to take on more risky mortgages. Republicans pushed for more lose regulations on lending.

    5. Conservatives have ideas? Wasn't their healthcare paper they presented to the press, empty....lacked any specifics.

    6. The insurance mandate in the HEALTH CARE REFORM ACT was put there by the HEALTH INSURANCE INDUSTRY. The HEALTH INSURANCE INDUSTRY complained to Obama that they could not insure sick people, it would cost them too much money, so they needed to have healthy people be forced to buy health insurance to offset their cost of insuring sick people.

    You want to rail against the insurance mandate, complain to the HEALTH INSURANCE INDUSTRY.

    3-D is waning. It's not they money maker they thought it was. People are not paying for the 3-D movie, they are opting for the 2-D movie instead.

    Again RTFA, because Warner Bros. got their ass handed to them for Clash Of The Titans and The Last Airbender, they were not eager to push 3-D.

    So yes 3-D is a fad. When DIRECTORS WANT 3-D, 3-D will take over, NOT when STUDIOS WANT 3-D.
