LMOL - yes it is like brick laying in that you don't need a degree in computer science to be a programmer like you don't need a degree architectural engineering to do brick laying. *Your* assumption is that brick laying is an unskilled and not requiring much intelligence compared to programming. The fault is your own if you think it's easy to be a brick layer and that programming is some kind of hyper-intelligent endeavor. Get over yourself.
The quote was apt - one does not need a degree in computer science to be a programmer.
Hi, this is a rule established by a business. They can do pretty which whatever the heck they want. You violate their rules and they can throw your ass out of there. Have a nice day.
Hardly, since it just upheld equal rights for all. That gay couples can enter into a legal contract, i.e, marriage. Until now they were denied that simply because they wanted to marry the same sex. That was clearly unconstitutional.
Because people aren't smart enough to understand the point. They think a company that stops selling a product is violating the 1st Amendment. People don't understand the 1st Amendment is about is about government regulating speech.
Your rant proves the racist point. As for the symbolism of a flag - you're just being ignorant or have you not payed attention to the flag burning issue and passing laws preventing burning the American flag.
Yo Zippy - no one has outlawed the sale of the confederate flag. Various merchants have decided to not sell it. How very white of you to think it not offensive - especially after the State of Carolina decided to fly it on its capital building after the passage of desegregation laws.
Brave soldiers trying to over throw the United States of America? I suppose those terrorists that crashed a plane into the World Trade Center were brave soldiers too. The Confederate army were traitors. Nothing brave about that.
"Western diets are high in fat and sucrose and can influence behavior and gut microbiota. There is growing evidence that altering the microbiome can influence the brain and behavior. This study was designed to determine whether diet-induced changes in the gut microbiota could contribute to alterations in anxiety, memory or cognitive flexibility." http://www.sciencedirect.com/s...
Surely you can understand that much without getting your panties in a twist. It's not a public policy document. It's a straight forward research paper published in a peer reviewed journal. The topic is pretty easy to understand and the experiment rather straight forward.
When has that stopped anyone? FYI it's published in a peer review journal. Go to you local university library - odds are they have a copy. Heck you local library might even have access to that journal.
Read the study then comment moron. The point of the research was how the diet altered the bacteria in the gut and how that impacted cognitive performance.
Yes mice are a good animal model.
Since when is sucking diet Doritos and bottled sugar water a natural diet for people....
Super thin ideals? Wow. America is no where near that. Considering we are setting obesity records left and right, perhaps eating less and eating healthy would be a good idea. America is fast becoming the people in the Pixar movie Wall-E...
If you think CS grads only marketable skill is programming - than you have a far more serious problem. Look up systems analyst.

Yeah because you're always taking photos in secluded spots with no one around.....

Thank You.
Get a life....
You need to read the 14th Amendment. FYI marriage is a legal contract. What religion thinks of it doesn't enter into it.
Except marriage confers certain legal rights that are not available outside of marriage.
We moved away from no such definition because none existed. There is no requirement to have children as a condition of marriage.

Yeah because it's not like S.C. raised the flag in defiance of desegregation...oh wait...

Yeah, they're really hard to identify *eye roll*
Right, the flag of traitors....nice one zippy.
You mean insurrection....

Hi that was marketing hype. Trans-fats were known not to be good since the '50s. It's just a cheaper, longer lasting fat for cooking/baking.
When has that stopped anyone? FYI it's published in a peer review journal. Go to you local university library - odds are they have a copy. Heck you local library might even have access to that journal.
I think you meant to say omega-3 and that a restriction on total dietary fat is not good because it can restrict the intake of good fat like omega-3.
Enhanced that for you.

I think you meant you'd eat it like Doritos if they added flavoring they way they do to junk food.
