Let's see...to be technical, Earth is "in space". Therefore, as an Earthling, I have been "in space" since I was born. Therefore, I should qualify for the prize. (snicker).
Existing WordProcessors are already so feature rich I can't imagine wanting ever to buy a new one.
Let's see... Microsoft updates the OS this year, next year, and in a few years, abracadabra, your Word no longer functions. Then you are forced to buy.
And consider $495. for Word vs. $2/month, $24/year for IBM Word.
As long as it reads and writes.doc files, and works like Word, I would go with it. Remember StarOffice - as soon as they started charging for it, it went away.

Open up the Task Manager, and take a look at the 40 or 50 processes that are running in the background. Which ones do I want and need, and which ones are spyware or other viruses? I dont have a clue.
What I need is a book or website that lists all of the Microsoft operating system Processes, what they do, and what I can delete. I am able to edit my registry and delete the bad guys, if I only knew who they are!
And - who will be the last man to die - just before the immortality pills go on sale?
