I find it amusing that you use the term "rank amatuers" to describe the staff over at Slashdot. Rob and Co. made Slashdot what it is today, and everyone that reads it is grateful to the amount of work and time that is put into this site by the staff of Slashdot. They made Slashdot into the best humor/technology news site out there, and they are hardly amatuers at what they do. I'm sure just about everyone who reads Slashdot agrees with me when I say that Slashdot does a most excellent job of providing great content. I find it even more amusing that you are part of the crowd who critizises, but is afraid to stand behind their words when they do. You're absouletly right about incomptence running rampant in the IT world these days - you're a shining example of it.
