Maybe that's why the Darwin community has been complaining that Apple has not been doing its share for open source for the past year.

I use Monster Arctic(TM) super-conducting ceramic speaker cables. The chemical formula is CaCa. The liquid nitrogen tank used to chill the intra-cable lumen also lets me flash freeze dinner leftovers and do cool tricks when my kid's friends come over.

Well, perhaps you've pointed out a good reason not to be *mean* to most of the callers, they're probably poor schnooks working for an hourly wage. The idea is to discourage the business model without mutilating the pawn.

Umm, the original Mac had just 128k ram, not 1Mb. (That was the Mac Plus). Oh, and the original ran just fine on 128k, but required a fair bit of floppy disk swapping for large files.

Hmmmm, seems like if you wanted to grow something like zink whiskers, you'd want a nice stable environment, free of foreign contaminants, and time, lots of time. From this standpoint, a dusty garage is a safer environment than a carefully controlled data center. Problems with monocultures.

Interesting. In that case, perhaps where remediation is impractical, a solution is to introduce additional benign contaminant(s) into the system?
