  1. Aircraft LAN parties! on D-Link's USB-Powered Access Point · · Score: 5, Funny

The only use I see for this is LAN parties on Planes/Busses/Trains. I am sure the person in the seat next to me would enjoy it when my buddy from the back of the plane storms up and throws a glass of coke at me screaming "STOP AWPING NOOB!".
The fact that this could also screw up plane communications and positioning equipment is irrevelant. No one ever uses that stuff anyway... ;)

  2. Re:What an Intel Exec. told me: on Intel Delays TV Chip Launch · · Score: -1, Offtopic

Intel must be having major corporate fraud problems if execs are lying about their age! ;)

  3. Re:Don't the laws of computing make it... on SHA-0 Broken, MD5 Rumored Broken · · Score: 1

Yep. In fact, we can relate the ability of computers to break code to the speed of processors. And since processors are supposed to double their speed every 18 months, I guess that cracking ability will follow the same trend. Scary...

  4. Devs move to Postgre on Is MySQL Planning a Change of Tune? · · Score: 2, Insightful

Now, I am not sure if this is true, but since MySQL is GPLed, doesn't that mean that they have some freelance programmers that contribute to the project? If they leave the GPL, that may encourage a devolper move to Postgre, helping it become a better DB.

  5. Why is Open Source even considered Communism? on Free Can Mean Big Money - The Open Source Economy · · Score: 2, Insightful

If we use the same logic that concludes that OS is communist, then we can conclude that some other famous orginizations(even countries) are communist as well:

Canada - Free healthcare? Those bastards!
The Red Cross - Stealing money from the healthcare industry!

There are many others. Can you think of some?
