Why is the blame so much on the company / product that the pop-up is for? What about the site that sold the ad space? Do you feel as strongly against that site? If it's a content site that survives through advertising, will you then stop visiting that site for it's content? Because they ultimately are the ones that inflict the pop-ups on you!
