It was changed to 14 sometime last year. I don't let my kids lie to get what they want, so they were not allowed to use it until they turned 14, at which time, their mother and I control their access to it, at least until they're 16.
Over the line? Too friggin' bad. Some will appreciate it some won't. We do what we have to to raise our kids right.
HA! Classic. What they fail to mention is that certain exploits have to wait for reboot before they can take effect. The fewer reboots, the longer an attacker has to wait to get what he wants.
Actually, we're using outsourced, shared webservers (ie., GoDaddy, Verio, etc...), so we really have little control over what they do and how/when they do it. I can only assume that some other customer needs something done, rebooted, what-the-heck-ever.
Also, I out of 26 websites we manage, I selected the grossest examples of each extreme to make a point. I thought maybe this would be obvious, but . . . ?
A thought to be extinct dodo bird was spotted less than a mile away from the sighting of the Mount Diablo Buckwheat. The crazy bird was followed to the area where the rare wildflower was seen, and inadvertantly trampled it. In a further attempt to escape its tracker, the dodo ran out into a highway and was flattened by a semi-truck bound for San Bernadino.
