Biggest problem is out of country vendors sending national flagged caller id when calling from outside of the country, in to the USA. They can show any domestic number of their choosing by flagging caller id as national instead of international. They won't be able to do that anymore, so all the out of country scam artists will not be able to pretend that they're a legit business in the USA.
Screening off the billing number isn't even an option because of how many things it would break.
Anyone with an access t1 that covers multiple clients who have separate privileges would be screwed, because the billing number is what they use to screen off of.
That wasn't supposed to blow up inside earths atmosphere, but it did.
Wouldn't that explosion have been even more fun if it had a nuclear reactor on board?
I don't like the idea of my kids playing outside being showered with radioactive isotopes from a mini nuclear reactor.
It's funny because at work the corporate big boys force Symantec on us, and I got infected with a virus once because it wouldn't even detect the virus. I installed AVG, which promptly detected and cleaned the virus. Good thing I wasn't depending on some free anti virus huh?
Sounds like a great idea to me. Extending your footprint to allow yourself to have access anywhere you go in your own neighborhood isn't illegal, neither is leaving your wireless network unsecured.
If you went out of your way to let all your neighbors know they could use your wifi, that would make you accountable for anything they do on it like pirating, but if you don't say anything and just leave it open, then anything they do isn't being done with your authorization, so you can just claim Plausible deniability because someone was using your service without your permission.
There is a huge difference between what google is doing and what MS is doing, so saying they are the same because they both corner the market on something is not even a valid comparison.
Microsoft sells an operating system, and has through the years done it's best to trap the entire world in to using their software, and only their software.
Google provides a way for people to advertise. They don't force anyone to use them, and they don't try to control it. They just happen to be the best choice if you want your ads to be seen.
It's like saying someone should sue the network TV stations because they corner the market on superbowl commercials. There are other options, people just want to use the medium that gets the best results.
This is just awesome, i'm so happy about this. SBC Home Entertainment, now AT&T, are worse than the teamsters about abusing the people trapped by these exclusive deals.
I've been stuck for the past few years with my only cable option being a package deal that only provides you with about 40 channels total, and costs over $40 a month.
They really exploit people unlucky enough to be trapped by these exclusive contract deals.
Seriously, this game is #1 most hacked game of the year.
As soon as they update punk buster, an update for the hacks comes out.
People run around with enemies painted bright red, can see through walls and terrain, have pinpoint crosshairs on every weapon including sniper rifle when out of scope mode, can see every person on the minimap not just friendly units, can disable fog, can extend their view range way past normal limits, and lots more.
Once you see what the people using the hacks can do, it totally ruins the game for you.
On a side note though, it's always nice right after they update punk buster, because you have a slew of people who can't fight without cheating, so it's alot of fun getting your paybacks.

I hear that France has already preemptively surrendered to ET because of this article.

So all I have to do is drink $3,000 worth of red bull, and it's like snorting a gram of cocaine? PARTY OVER HERE!
