    Its still the Chinese government.

    The alternative is they allow all videos and get blocked in a millisecond.

    My ultimate laptop has a 4:3 screen and not the widescreen crap.
    If I want wide screen, I'll use dual monitors so web pages and documents are still 4:3.

    Its interesting to note that I do have said laptop. Its a Pentium 3 with a 15" 4:3 screen.
    I had to go back that far to find one with a 4:3 screen. Its wonderful though.
    Whats the extra space created by the screen used for? A second hard drive. :)

    Use the error console in Firefox/Seamonkey. Very specific errors.
    Seamonkey even has a javascript debugger.

    If your using IE, well then *snigger* your screwed. ;)

    Unsecured access points can be used accidentally or just for convenience.
    A encrypted one requires specific effort to break in to.

    My analogy covers that.

    If I found out about the url and I had a bot net then I'd do it deliberately.

    Heads would roll when they figured out that all the clicks they got were fake and they had siezed thousands of innocent people's stuff.
    The courts would also think twice about approving stuff like this.

    Thats like leaving your house unlocked because you dont know what a lock is.

    Sheer stupidity. The people who raided your house arent in the right but it was 100% caused by the owner of the house.

    The manuals which come with wireless routers have plenty of instructions.
    Stupidity isnt a valid defense.

    Um...Rectifying and passing through a capacitor wont result in a sawtooth wave unless the capacitor is bloody tiny or your only using a single diode for rectifying.

    A properly designed circuit will output a constant voltage with slight ripples.
    No expensive circuitry needed at all.

    PWM (Pulse Width Modulation - Highly efficient brightness control) can go at 200khz or more.

    No matter how much you whine, you cannot see that.
    If you can, then your only deluding yourself that you can.

    $5 billion is nothing in a $2.9 trillion dollar budget.

    The Government should place, own and maintain the fiber/copper which leads to homes.
    Only then will we get fair prices for using that service.
    And it shouldnt be sold off.

    Another thing is action shots are fast and quick.
    Thats easily detectable.

    When I went to the US I could see quite a noticeable quality difference.
    The extra lines do make a difference.

    As for the TV channel thing, thats only for some bizarre TVs.
    Every TV I has knows the channels correctly out of the box.
    I'm not sure about specifics though. Its only some older small tvs.
    I'm a Aussie so the systems shouldnt be different.

    30fps? Yeah right any American would pick such a logical number.
    It must be 29.97 fps instead.

    NTSC is sticking around in Cable and DVDs for awhile.

    Btw its spelt 'European' not 'Europian'.

    Unfortunately, NTSC isnt going anywhere. Its just the analog transmissions which are going away.
    Why you Americans dont use PAL, I'll never know. :)

    Btw with digital you should get longer range and better quality.

    At the very minimum, your brain would have to be wired up to use them.
