    50% of murders in the USA are committed by a demographic group that consistently votes over 90% democrat (FBI crime stats).

    The remaining 50% are going to be fairly evenly divided.

    Also: Let's give a little credit. The laptop industry, more or less*, paid to develop the batteries in this generation of electric cars and phones.

    * obviously, the entire rechargeable battery market. But in 2000 that would have been what? 65% laptop, 15% phones, 15% toys, 5% model aviation. With laptops and RC being the ones needing 'more, more, more...' 1995? 1990?

    Also consider derms.

    Fentanyl patches can kill a junkie that puts a little too much DMSO on the pad (to mobilize the drug, make it like a shot).

    We're going to be looking at a William Gibson style 'derm' drug problem very soon.

    The junkies will figure out how to safely dose any consistent drug, a few will OD on the learning curve. But lack of consistency is the problem.

    Methadone is, more or less, obsolete. It's only purpose was to keep junkies 'not sick' while not getting them nearly as high. Junkies have found that adding a 'pam' (valium) to methadone restores the full tilt Heroin high.

    Methadone withdrawls are reportedly actually worse than Heroin.
