This "school" has been around for at least two or three years. Same partnership between O'Reilly and the University of Illinois, same courses, same cost, same certificates.
They just rebranded it "O'Reilly School of Technology."
There's one host that looks promising: http://www.textdrive.com/ -- It's run by Dean Allen (wrote TextPattern), David Heinemeier Hansson (wrote Rails), Matt Mullenweg (wrote WordPress), among others.
Not astroturfing -- I co-lo elsewhere, and almost wish I was willing to do the virtual host thing again to try it out.
It's not a spelling mistake, it's a trademark

I had heard awhile back that "Google" is so named because you cannot solely trademark(TM) numbers or words expressing numbers.
