Analog TV Channels uses 6Mhz just like HDTV Channels so there is no change in actual spectrum usage. However much more data is sent over the spectrum so it is far more efficient (Quality similar to Analog TV can be attained using about 2Mhz)

You don't need to know a lot about chainsaws to know that juggling them will be dangerous. The latter is questionable. Besides even in your rather foolish case there is a large difference between accidental death or injury from juggling chainsaws and the chainsaw instructor deciding to inflict those injuries on the student.

Just because some bloke you know nothing about says your kid will be safe, that is not enough to justify handing them over.

AOL is a company that has been around for 15+ years and is an extremely popular service serving millions of customers. Regardless if it is warranted or not; such would indicate the company is willing to back up their claims. The parents whom I suspect wouldn't be experts in the field of internet crimes would have no solid reason to deny those claims made by AOL.

The strawman as I see it (and I may be misunderstanding you) is that:

Statement A is given (the link)
You present philosophy B as people who believe A
There is an implied attack of philosophy B
Therefore A is not properly documented and irrelevant.

That however is really not important regardless if you think it is propaganda or not (or for that matter who believes in it) it does not mean that it is not at least in part true. I fully understand you aren't pointing your attacks at me; I have never made the argument but just linking to a seemingly well-written piece addressing the concerns you put forward. I don't think the authors would mind much if people disagree either, that isn't the point and you aren't disagreeing you are sweeping aside this based insults whom you attribute to associate with them. I certainly am not insulted.

I understand you perfectly well. My problem is not that you disagree with something, the problem I find is you disregard the information based on something totally irrelevant (what does DU have to do with Kissinger anyway?). If you believe that the data fails scrutiny then by all means scrutinize it and perhaps something meaningful will come out of it.

I am fully aware of false fallacies however I fully document above why I believe this is a Strawman, if you disagree with my analysis that is fine. My reply may not have been to what you posted (I misread and the question was kind of vague) but your reply was. So new debate.

I am not insulted in any way.

I do hope you realize that your use of a strawman argument has absolutely no relevance on the accuracy of the information. I have to disagree on it being properly documented, but since you seem more interested in insulting the authors rather then addressing the points raised I truly doubt anything will satisfy you are 'properly documented'.

Music is one of those things that people are willing to find alternative means of finding the artist and music they want.

The best thing the labels could do here is call Wal-Mart's bluff. Since all their power comes from the fact that they can drop a supplier and go elsewhere for a product. When that option isn't feasibly available to them they have very little power to back up their demands. Probably the best business move for the labels would be to get together and simply lock out Wal-Mart out of distribution and really ends their problem permanently and acts as a deterrent to others.

The most important rule, when developing open source code, is to "release often, release early". However they say that they want to wait until "it is finished". No real commitment, just commercial attitudes.

Just because a lot of projects happen to have their development cycle like that doesn't mean it's right. As a matter of fact, that is a pretty stupid philosophy for a company that hopes to attract business customers. Why waste the community's time with something that isn't even in beta state.
