I guess you were being facetious, but for the benefit of anyone else reading this... erm... No, they won't be able to scan you so long as you wear your tin foil hat :) http://www.wired.com/news/privacy/0,1848,61264,00. html 'plex

Well its obvious that just about everyone on... wellll.... the face of the earth has used illegal software at some time or another... (even simply as a matter of convenience, as i'm sure it was in this instance) MS continues to deny this is the case, and this 'news' illuminates their hypocracy...

Might the witness bring forward Exhibit A: "LISTB INFOICRD 2000-04-06 IENG Deepz0ne ISFT Sound Forge 4.5 " Sonic Foundry... I hereby admit to the court that I am indeed guilty on charges of being an accessory to theft and those of receiving stolen goods. Might my remorse and honesty be taken into account at the time of sentencing. 'plex

I'd push for the case to be built into the disc, ala 3 1/4 inch floppies. Not the ugly original model, but a much more elegant solution. (round, slim) opening and closing cases and removing CDs is a complete waste of time. Most of my CDs end up stacked on a spool and alot end up rotting/scratched as a result. Redundancy is a 'nice' solution, but a good old fashioned built in protective case might make reduncancy er.. redundant...

Its funny, with the indian E-boom I initially thought that it stood for second rate sweatshop type stuff, but just then when I read Rediff was located in india my thoughts were "they're probably offering a decent product for a reasonable cost" I hope india can keep up and become a serious competitor to Australian & US tech (make us work harder)

Who ever said we were fighting a war?... or is our society just a permanent war? Theres always some cause for which to fight a war, and I personally would like to stop seeing the blood of innocents. How about this... This is a war on censorship... the innocents which get killed are the caring sensivite (but unrealistic) right... Its unfortunate I know, but my kids are going to grow up at risk and free rather than safe and controlled.
