    I heard they were going to have an outdoor celebration of the success of their Last Minute Action Objective meeting regarding the license plate fiasco by burning all the license plates. I think they were calling it the LMAOWTFBBQ.

    Simple. Ask for a credit card and then charge a dollar to it. Call the charge "Age Verification". Then refund the charge in 28 days. If some kid steals his Dad's cc then the Dad is going to see the charge on the bill and start asking questions.


    I may be more disorganized than most, but how many people would actually notice a $1 charge? What would be better would be to have the charge come from "DISCOUNT HOOKERS" or something, and then let Mom find it, because you know she will. Not only does this solve the problem, but it causes a little harmless excitement in their lives. Or a divorce. Whichever.

    It has been my experience that if you are using a cracked / Volume / Corporate version of Windows, you know it, you ignore the messages, you wait for a crack


    Yeah but what about all the people using cracked versions that don't know it. I imagine there's a TON. How many times do you install XP for a friend or something, and instead of telling them they need to cough up $XXX for an intangible license, you just install the cracked version.

    Sure the user is using illegal software, but you can really blame them when they genuinely have no idea?

    These things do exist. There should be a compliance/risk management system in place which does exactly
    if amount > big_number
    Fatally deny trade, refer to risk management


    They actually did have that, but the programmer made a typo and put in an extra 0 or two when setting the big_number field.

    Yeah, exactly. My code always works fine the first time, and has plenty of undocumented "features" to boot.

    No good... I've used IM logs of past conversations with gals before, and it never works.

    What's worse is if they discover your logs and find the evidence of your bitching about her to your friends. I never keep IM logs because I say plenty of stuff that would be very incriminating against me if found by the wrong person.

    In this market you might try the nearest mall - everyone underestimates the danger and security issues involved in being a mall cop. Plus, who wouldn't want to drive around a parking lot in a geo with yellow lights...
