A project like this simply cannot succeed until the threat of terrorism against it is miniscule. No-one would put any real money into this with any chance of a terrorist action occurring against it.
I would love to use public transportation if it 1) took me where I wanted to go, 2) was fast, 3) was cheap. In Phoenix we just decided on building a new lightrail system which does not satisfy any of those requirements for me. I won't use it, but this wouldn't bother me much except that I think an extremely good alternative is possible in some modifications of the plans and ideas expressed with SkyTran a personal mass transit system.
From reading the comments most people are interpreting this somewhat differently, but as I see it, what we need is a standard application which developers can interface into that asks the user for feedback about the particular product they are using and then transmits the information to the developer. Also with user consent core dumps could be analyzed as well as interface feedback. i.e. It could simply mean there is a feedback button in the menu system of the windows app which brings the user to a comforting familiar interface which always looks the same but plugs in the relavent information from the program which it was called from. The only thing the user sees is a quick survey and a submit button. If it was included standard in even just one of the distros it would be a very valuable tool for most developers.
This woman appears to believe that all dorms are created equal. I live at ASU in dorm housing with two bedrooms, a kitchen, family room and balcony. I'd say that the supervision already in place with 24 hour on duty Resident Assistants is sufficient to deal with any disturbance problems. The audacity of this woman to tell me that I cannot have opposite sex friends over in my family room is unbelievable! Maybe she will let us come over to her house to study.
