How are we supposed to convey the message: "Don't touch any of this, or pass it around. You and anyone who touches this will die not instantly but within months of a painful death, perhaps after you have traveled a great distance" for 200x the length of recorded history?
It's simple, you label it as being cursed. Worked so well for all the tombs we've found....
Its aliens who have created an Ion drive capable of accelerating Hydrogen ions to near speed of light.. - Giving an almost limitless supply of thrust.
What we are seeing is pollution from the thrusters!
Find a young child to give all your memories to. Hopefully he doesn't run away after learning the horrible secrets of the IT world.
long time since I read that book.
I use keepass to keep my passwords for various things encrypted on my systems. It works with windows, max, linux, android, and probably iphones. Then you just have one password to share and all of your information is unlocked. Send it to them in a secure fashion or come up with some sort of shared storage they can access (dropbox) so that you can update passwords as they need to change and then you can put your password for keepass in your will so they don't have access to anything until you die.
Compared to the 600 million dollar initiative for the ACA website, this is a steal! Hopefully it works as well as the ACA website and we won't have to worry about them breaking any encryption.
I have used crossloop for a long time. Simple download, works with mac and windows. From my system as the viewer, I was able to get it to work after some fiddling with it using wine. It makes an outbound connection from the end user, so you don't have to worry about punching a hole in the typical end users router. They also have advertising facets on their website where you can list yourself as a professional in certain areas and people looking for help can connect to you for support that way too (I never bothered to list my services there, so I don't know how well that portion works). http://www.crossloop.com/index.jsp
This analogy is devoid of meaningful congruence. A more correct analogy would be:
a) plead guilty to a crime you didn't commit and go to jail for six months, b) grovel and beg for forgiveness and go to jail for six years, or c) plead your innocence, protest the judicial system, and receive "b" by default.
Human decisions are unique in that they can be predicated on something other than fear.

And this is the real reason for global warming :-)
