Well, you're our first patient then...quick everyone set their computers to research internal "warm and fuzzy" feelings...could take a lot of CPU cycles to crack this one...

Great, now we're getting book reviews by witch doctors!

  5. Re:Last gasp for Disney Animation on Disney to Make Toy Story 3 Without Pixar · · Score: 1

I agree, just because it is "Toy Story" doesn't mean it will make a ton of money - if it is poorly done and doesn't entertain kids AND adults, it will flop. If they can't get the original voice actors they are in trouble, and I don't expect Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are going to be cheap. They have their work cut out for them.

  6. Re:Pixar is the sniznit ... on Disney to Make Toy Story 3 Without Pixar · · Score: 4, Insightful

Pixar is now in the same position Lucas is in at Lucasfilm. Does Lucas have trouble finding anyone to distribute "Star Wars" films, no, 20th Century Fox is happy to do it, they know they will make lots of money. The same with Pixar, I would be AMAZED if they had any trouble finding a distributor.

Also, the index could have been better, not to mention a cover that is plain and uninspiring.

  15. Re:What are the odds? on EFF Goes To Court To Fight The Broadcast Flag · · Score: 4, Insightful

I'd say they are pretty high. The FCC is clearly out of it's mandate here and I would say the odds of defeating it are good, not on the merits of violation of consumers rights, but that the FCC doesn't have the authority for Congress to do this.
