Use online storage/backup such as Carbonite and let them worry about it! I think they charge about $50/year...it's well worth the cost for unlimited storage for all your data.
No, the most logical and economical thing to do is build you own machine. Resources are so plentiful and hardware is so cheap anymore, is there really any point in paying a large corporation extra hundred(s) of dollars for warrantys to replace a $50 hdd or cdrom? Save the money and build your own.
If you want to think of it in the realm of a TV series, then yes I will agree it was good. Although, to compare it to the rest of the Indiana Jones movies it is significantly inferior. It all depends on what you are comparing it to. Young Indiana Jones compared to the Martha Stewart made for TV movie, it is clearly better. On the other hand, there is no way you can honestly argue Young Indiana Jones is better than Lost Ark.;-)
Haha, that's halarious. I was thinking the same thing. With the direction Hollywood has taken it would end up casting Matt Daemon on a quest to find J and Silent Bob's talent.
Didn't they learn their lesson the first time when they released "Young Indiana Jones". Don't get me wrong, Indiana Jones is my favorite series of movies, but there is a time when you need to put things to rest.
I was wondering the same thing. Did you see some of that furniture? Man, you should see my office...I'll be lucky if I get the good folding chair inlcuded in my next raise.
I would not put too much stock into a degree. From what I have seen and experienced in the workplace, experience will always trump a piece of paper. We have had plenty of coders submit resumes from well known colleges and universities only to find out they can barely tie their shoes. On the other hand, there have been plenty of people hired on that dont even have a degree and are top-notch programmers. It's all about experience, what you can show the employer, and finding a niche and focusing on it. That is my experience and opinion.
I agree with your concerns in regards to killing unqualified game. Although, to give live-shoot.com credit they did mention the following in their FAQ: "...The on site personnel have the same view as you and have the ability to override the firing signal if the firearm is aimed at something not supposed to be shot. A bird flying into the area for example."
My following concerns would be the following. First, overhunting the area could have serious effects on the environment. Will users be required to have deer tags or go through the turkey lottery as they do in my area? Second, hacking the system could have serious consequences..I wont even begin to speculate at the range of possiblilities.
Personally, until proper legislation, studies on environmental impacts, and security measures have been evaluated, they should stick to the shooting range. As an avid hunter I do not condone this activity and never will. On a side note using the handicapped accessible "benefit" to help sugar-coat this idea is a cheap shot, but is an entirely different story all together. I hope this becomes an instant failure for live-shoot.com. Long live the TRUE hunter.
Ehh..hopefully he lives on the side of town that the paper will get delivered on because he will definitely need the classifieds to look for a new job.

Perhaps a dual-boot scenario in a few labs until the brass/big-wigs become comfortable with the idea of a complete migration?
Micro$oft is just too embarrassed to admit their Exchange server crashed. ;-)
Sorry, that article was so boring I can't even think of a reply.

Barney, Jerry Springer, and Saved By The Bell were all very successful as well, but it does not mean they are good. ;-)

Don't tell me you were the kid that finally convinced your parents to get you a B.B. gun and then complained about not having proper eye protection!
