I don't think that any company out to make money wants anything to do with the XFL. That was a money-sucking venture from the get go and lost a LOT of people a LOT of money. Even the name XFL is now associated with flopping.
You know the game is going to be good when the new developers' website is slashdotted within 15 minutes. Obviously game stability will be very important to NWN2's development.

I disagree. There is a lot of memorization involved in chess - attack and defensive strategies. I know that it takes a lot of improvisation and personal technique once you get farther into the game but being able to recognize these and utilize them during a game is very important to any serious chess player.
