They're not different from any other band. They're making money because they're filling a niche, not because they have integrity. If they weren't around, another band would be in their position.
Rumor has it that the company they sourced the bulk of their CGI rendering to used clusters of CISC Linux machines to do the work!

"And that is all," said Dr. Calvin, rising. "I saw it from the beginning, when the poor robots couldn't speak, to the end, when they stand between mankind and destruction. I will see no more. My life is over. You will see what comes next." I never saw Susan Calvin again. She died last month at the age of eighty-two.
Rude, troll!
The driver is open source, and previous revisions were supported, but only in kernel versions too new for this distribution (although drives for other platforms had been available for over half a year).
Furthermore, unless you're Richard Stallman, I doubt an "Anonymous Coward" represents the Open Source Community!
Though I don't think he's right to egg on us for using CD-ROMs instead of floppies (anachronistic sev!) I agree with his advice. I installed Fedora Core 2 recently, and before I could even go online, I had to modify 3c509x.c to support my onboard NIC (3Com 3C920B-EMB-ATI / Asus P4R800-VM) and recompile it (newer version is included in 2.6.7 with said modification) ! I just wanted to read my e-mail and I had to do this!
If you listen to them based on any other reason than A, you're listening for the wrong reasons!

/(o^_^o)\
And totally worth it. All of my roommates are able to use BT (to get Linux ISOs, of course =D) without harassing me to forward ports to them.
The EPA is more concerned with emissions.
