I haven't gotten to Galactic Empire yet, but I've read the first three "Elija Baley" books. What corrupt societies? Sure, they are various societies taken to extremes, but I wouldn't call any of them corrupt. (sure, a few of the members, but you will never get away from that)
Sounds like someone needs to buck up the escalation chain until someone who knows anything gets on the phone.
That's a definite problem. Network admins hate those kinds of shenanigans, provided they know about them. That last part is the hard part - how to get it to their attention.
Then move, or start complaining to the people that actually matter.
It's not like any of us can fix it for you.

When I worked at a supposedly SAS-70 facility, I loved to joke around that our "5 9s" was actually 9.9999%. My boss was not amused (but the rest of us were, so oh well)

When people say "we have 5 9's!!!one!eleven" I like to think to myself "Oh, cool! 9.9999% uptime!"
Why do we care about this?
Indeed. My first trade ever (Yay), I just bought a single share for about $40.
If it sinks, who cares? But if (for some reason) it explodes, I'll get something out of it.
I like this idea.
Nothing can be done without consensus between the representatives and constituents, and the executive branch retains it's existing veto power.
That missing direct-power from the constituents is really being felt these days.

Oh, a neurosurgeon eh? Well, I'm a rocket scientist. Oh wait, no... I'm a world renowned entomologist. Wait, no...
See, I can claim to be anyone.
Nothing wrong with that either, only with what the given "issue" might be. Eg, I'd have no compunctions of helping to nail a child-porn producer.
No, that would be a DDoH(head) attack.
Normally one wouldn't want to toss the baby out with the bath water.
However, this "baby" is, at this point, a tazmanian devil wrestling with an angry badger.
Toss away, toss away.
Shush! We don't like logic and truth around these parts!
So, we have figured out who DDOSes the DDOSers?
What a stupid idea.
Not big money? That's more than most of us make in a year, before taxes.
Indeed. I've given it a couple hours today. Aside from server issues (irritating, but whatever...) I have no complaints and only praise.
lol I can't even quote you correctly. Doh!
You said "Tristan" - as in the person's name. It's Tristram.
Tristran? Apparently you didn't play the originals very much either.
+1 Hilarious. Bonus points, they still had to pay the transaction fee for the decline.

Saying the graphics are nothing special these days means a vast improvement from before.
When's the last time you ran Diablo or Diablo II? Try it, and see...
Excellent. I was hoping for this.
How's the visual aesthetic? Did they WOW-bunny it? Or does it still look hellish?
If it has to be explained to you then it's not going to be fun for you.
People enjoy different things. Don't worry about it and move on.
Both will get my money and time, and neither will get my affection.
Affection is for people, not companies.
Hopefully they are taking some hardware from WoW.
