    One word that makes it possible: buffering.

    It wouldn't work with a realtime stream. TCP/UDP don't do realtime streams quite so well.

    I don't believe so, but I could be wrong. If it is, it doesn't seem to trigger correctly for ATI/AMD cards when I've had some limited time using them.

    Probably detecting driver freezes and restarting it.

    It's something I've only seen happen rarely - but I've had a game "lock up" for a few seconds, only to be greeted by a notification that the driver froze and was restarted. The game died, but the whole system did not (without this functionality it would have been a power cycle)

    I'm near Atlanta. I've only been able to find two brands of Mead, the one I didn't like I can't recall. The other is Chaucer's, and I'm lucky to find it at all. Usually places only have a bottle or two, if that. That was the case when I lived down by Tampa and Brooksville as well.

    It's a gas station. If you don't think they expect that then you're not paying attention.

    Attrition is expected. If you work in a gas station for 7 years and are not a manager, something is wrong.

    I read at some point, that "good" vodka has specific impurities introduced to add flavor or complexity. The bad stuff is either pure, or has "uncontrolled" impurities. It all tastes like ass-fire to me though.
