    Um, no. The revenue gained by red light runners is greatly less than the revenue not lost to accounting, tow trucks, etc. caused by crashes.

    Go read a freakin' book! I hate people always saying this whenever TV comes up. If all I wanted to do was read books I wouldn't even own a TV. But I do own a TV.

    Barak Usama Obama For one thing, his middle name is not Usama but Hussein which also happens to be a very common name in Muslim countries such as the one where his father came from. I can't wait to see the smear ads comparing Obama to Osama/Hussein, I bet they'll be hilarious.

    What those who want activist courts fear is rule by the people. For example, the Founding Fathers. And anybody who values the Constitution over a tyranny by majority.

    I wouldn't be calling for a party split even if Hillary was nominated. A party split is a sure way to the other party winning, and history proves this, from the Whig Party's regional candidates to Abe Lincoln's election to Woodrow Wilson.

    What I find interesting is the disparity between your comment and the other comments on that thread. I've never watched fansubs but judging from other similar phenomena(webcomics vs newspaper comics, blogs vs traditional journalism, etc etc etc) I'm going to guess that you're talking about the average fansub and they're talking about the few good fansubs. I've found that when a barrier to entry(often artificial) is raised(often by the Internet) that the amount of crap goes from Sturgeon's Constant of 0.90 to somewhere from about 0.95 to about 0.99 but the remaining 1-5% is often better than all but the very very best of the barrier'd options. I call it the Paul Graham effect.

    I would really look for some other site, to tell the truth. I don't know much about fansubs but I do know that the particular site Dattebayo is controlled by the GNAA.

    Your counting is off. I only watch the episodes when they're shown in the US(for several reasons including laziness, paranoia, and wanting to watch with Dad on the HDTV upstairs) and the last 10 episodes are the only ones that haven't been shown yet.

    Linked lists are simple enough to add to C that you can add them basically as if they were builtin. Actually, arrays in C are just a simpler syntax for pointer arithmetic. Also: Python arrays have both random access and arbitrary addition. Quis ridet nunc?

    Actually, Lua(which isn't an acronym) is a dynamic enough language that you can use their "tables"(which are the same as dictionaries/maps/associative arrays/whatever else they're called) to make working object-orientation.

    Actually, if he hadn't started using heroin, Kurt would have died earlier, as evidenced by an interview in 93 or so in which he said it was the only thing keeping him from topping himself. He had bipolar disorder(one of the songs in Nevermind is called "Lithium", a drug used to treat bipolar disorder) and twenty percent of people who have that end up committing suicide. And even if he hadn't committed suicide, his next recording after In Utero would have been him screaming "FUCK YOU" into the microphone for 45 minutes, if it existed at all. Kurt basically had an abject hatred for anything popular, and he himself was popular.

    DRM was not invented by the government and would exist even without government involvement in the form of the DMCA which is a paper tiger anyways. DRM was created by the "free" market, which is largely a libertarian fantasy anyways. That being said the "War on (non-Tobacco-or-Alcohol) Drugs" and "War on (non-Israeli-or-Saudi) Terror" are total crocks of shit.
