i don't know about the rest of you, but i'm sick of of these dot com heavyweights throwing their weight around trying to rid the net of any competition. i could see this being an issue if you were required to have a membership on ebay to view auction data, but since they give all the info out for free anyways, why is this an issue?? and while i'm harping on companies, i'd just like to say that i'm sick of hearing about new patents and patent suing that is going on. *sigh* now i'm finished.
what a complete waste of time. this article's strong point was all the sarcasm comments posted about it. does katz really have nothing better to do than post about stuff nobody cares about?
we'll see when this board's released if it truly has these specs. plus, don't forget about nvidia, they have released new hardware so quickly this past year, i wouldn't put it past them to have a voodoo4/5 killer out by that time (or before). the geforce shows promise, but we'll have to wait until software is coded for these chips in order to see it perform in all of its glory.
i wish the technology world would just wake up and realize that nothing is uncrackable. every new technology can be cracked, in time. Sega was just recently boasting about their uncrackable GD-ROM format, which was then cracked, now DVD. Why can't they just realize that everything will be cracked eventually? If a technolgoy that is dubbed "uncrackable" is out there, some shmuck with nothing better to do will do it, maybe not for the right reasons, but he will. So the technology people shouldn't complain when something is cracked, the challenge was there and someone took advantage of it, 'nuff said.

it's about time there's some real competition in the CPU market. AMD is really forcing Intel to get newer chips out much faster.
usually it's whatever MP3's i currently have on my hard drive. rarely will i listen to cd's, and the radio just sucks.
