I haven't tried 7-zip recently. IZarc worked better than 7-zip at one point (i.e. didn't randomly crash) so that's what I got used to. In Windows, anyway, I am open-source indifferent; and in Linux I merely use the command-line tools.
I don't see how much this is going to help them in the end. I used to work at a Wal-Mart store and they laid off the un-load crew and had us stockers come in at 3am and upload the truck (Small Wal-Mart so only one truck a day). We had to do it all manual. Took us 2 hours to unload onto pallets so we could take it into the store to stock.
I seen the whole Wal-Mart distribution system, and your part was the insignificant ass-end of what the product goes through to get to the shelf. Any speedups in the distribution and import centers will vastly improve things for Wal-Mart.
What do you mean, bias? If women are equally intelligent, they should be able to complete the same intellectual tasks with the same speed and accuracy. Unless you mean that women do things differently, and propose making them take a separate test...in which case we are now trying to compare peaches and bananas. Which may just be the case anyway.
Seems that most missiles have some type of forward-looking sensor for tracking their target. I'd imagine ramming a high-powered laser beam down its throat could cause problems. You can't mirror the whole missile because it needs to see.

All he said was that he was moving them...what he didn't say was that he needs help moving them out of his house to the dumpster. The guy's couch ALWAYS goes after marriage because she can't stand the thought of what might have happened on that couch with other women.
I think if we went to 50C it would be a little too far. 50F is actually very livable with a little extra clothing. Hell, -50F would be a paradise compared to most places in space.
If you warm up Mars, how long before all the atmosphere cooks off because the gravity is lower? To me it seems like trying to blow up a balloon that already has a small hole in it.
There's no review from the wife. Funny, with millions upon millions of people using computers, you never hear the complaint about "flying through air and hitting wall" effect of computer keyboards. I've used manual typewriters, and my fingers were MUCH more tired after only an hour of typing. On a computer I can type for a full day and feel no fatigue.
I suspect that his wife was merely using this as an excuse for computer incompetence. I've heard worse excuses from the luddites; evil rays coming from the LCD monitor, an anthropomorphic hatred emanating from the computer, and faking pressing the power button so they can pretend the computer's dead. I doubt this guy's wife actually liked this present, or will used it.
Don't worry about it, takes a lot more than that to get under my skin. I wasn't really adding much to the conversation anyway, just something I'd heard of and thought I might clue in some Slashdotters to the possibility.

My favorite window archiving tool: http://www.izarc.org/
I guess 7-zip is popular too. Regardless, Winzip is yesterday's news.
You like Kyro 2's? I'll sell ya one, though the GPU fan died and I lashed on a 486 CPU fan.
If only there were some way to channel light through some kind of flexible tube....

That will never become reality, shoplifters are already using foil-lined bags and pockets to get high-ticket items with radio tags out of the store.
On a side note, anyone else ever want to ride those tracks a la Toy Story 2?
Based on TFA, not unless you have extra parts you won't mind losing.
Maybe not legal, but at least a chick.
Deceit is one sign of intelligence; I ask you this, what man is capable of faking an orgasm?
Oh, so they deliver bullshit by supertanker now?
You'll get laid MORE often if you take the knowledge from this study, and use it.

Hence part of the reason for TI emulators.
I'm reminded of that Venture Brothers episode, the yard-sale one....
Confucius say: Man who colonize Venus is high on acid.
"...planet several thousand miles away"
I might agree with spending a little more money on education.

"when is the USA going to leave the the IX century and use the metric system?"
When the other countries have more fucking nukes, man.

I thought you had to HAVE PERMISSION to copy copyrighted materials, not specifically FORBIDDEN to copy a specific book.
I have heard that GNAA is trying to troll the P2P networks with an OSX_x86 torrent. Just a heads-up to anyone, prepare to be disappointed.
