  1. Anyone know a better place to report phishing scam on Netcraft: 5,600 Phishing Sites Since December · · Score: 1

Anyone know a better place to report phishing scams other than to registrars? I have seen many that are coming from china, japan, chile, and various others. But since my emails are in english, they may not be understood. Is there a better/another place to report them to help them get shut down? Typically I get the ip and look up the information on http://www.dnsstuff.com/ and then report to their registrar. Any other tips? Thx! -Just doin my part to stop scammers and spam.

  2. Just means that Msoft... on 64-Bit Windows Releases Now Available · · Score: 1

Just means that they will release this version with bugs. So now your are stuck with a computer, riddled with bugs and you dont want to format your drive again... So then microsoft can control how things play out. Starting to charge for updates seems like something they could start it with. Corner ya then make ya pay. who knows.... almost reminds me of win95 and how version "A" did not support usb so u had to buy or upgrade to version "B" to use usb. Money, money, money...

  3. I guess many people had the same idea on Beat Spam By Not Using Email · · Score: 1

I just found out the program I have been writing all summer is all for naught. I actuallw was writing a program called D-Mail. Same exact idea, only things i did different is that mine was text only and it was a vb program not web based. its just scarry that they have everything identical except for those two differences. I guess my private d-mail system will be renamed and be even more private for just my friends. Just sux feeling like the program idea was stolen and rewritten :( But who knows they actually could have come up with the same idea. Its just hard to believe that they are that similar :( Sorry just a lil aggrivated at the moment.

  4. Something to think of when purchasing a camcorder on Which Digital Video Camera for Amateur Video? · · Score: 2, Informative

I just bought a camera panasonic something 72 for 400 bucks from frys, next week same camera was 600 bucks. After using its software it would only transfer 4 minutes of video at one time before it would reach its limit (about a cd's worth). I returned the camera because I figure i will wait till the dvd cameras get better and their price comes down because that way you do not have to worry about transferring data because it will all be on mini dvd. only problem i noticed is that the quality on the dvd cameras are not up to par with other less expensive cameras, as well as the mini dvds are about 15 bucks each(dont know how much th rw ones are). Just depends on where you want to spend your time, in transfers or in editing. I did use other programs to transfer files but the all seemed to clock out around 4 minutes. (it was a minidv camera, so it could be the reason that they were on sale, the fact that it would only allow tranfers of 4 mins at a time). So for family videos transferring 4 minutes at a time over and over again can get tedious. So as I said I recommend finding a camera that makes transferring data to the pc/mac easy. Hope that helps, -Cycil
