Why don't we tether(move closer, physically attach who cares) hubble to the ISS? Future repair missions costs would be negligible as we have people close by at all times with frequent trips up that could carry replacement parts and holy cow it could perhaps even justify ISS which is largely just a excercise in keeping people alive in space. Not that this is without merit but for crying out loud give them something useful to do.

Lobbying in general is just how the system works. As constituents rarely if ever organize mass letter writing campaigns to congressmen anymore. Well of course. The idea of infinite growth is just plain silly. Its kinda hard to grow when you have cornered the entire market. You simply have no direction in which to grow. These profits are largely trumped up by personel savings. Until MSFT takes a huge dive they arent going to have any room for future growth.
AFAIK lots of films are shot in 1.33:1 and that the decision to do this on some films centers around the fact that 1.85:1 is sometimes difficult to shoot depending on the subject matter of the film. This was especially true in the old days.
I'm not sure what this pertains to as I didn't RTFA but you shouldn't be able to blot out yourself from pictures or video taken in public. you have no right or reasonable expectation of privacy in public and shouldnt be able to dictate whether or not I can take a picture of you with my camera or video tape you walking around picking your nose.

Last I check men traditionally were educated for the past 2000 years so they would know how to trade with eachother etc etc. But it wasnt customary for women to get the same amount of education until VERY recently. So to say that women are worse at math/science is a claim that cannot be supported due to the dubiousness of the evidence.
The problem here is that basically any study is "fruit of the poisonous tree" so to speak. We have a society that has been keeping women out of those careers for generations and our child rearing habits are still reflecting keeping women cute and dainty rather than encouraging them to experiment and break/build things.
It actually reminds of the studies that showed blacks were dumber than whites because they were poorer. Also blacks cause more violent crime. While blacks as a general rule are arrested more and are poorer than whites the cause of this is hardly genetics but instead caused by a racially biased society. Same goes for anything you can conclude about women based on looking at societal trends. Its a sexist society of course women are going to be underrepresented in these careers and fields. The way we are raising them doesn't prepare them properly to excel in those fields.
