Actually, with the release of XOS 2.0.0, this has been fixed. On top of that, it includes a repair utility to undo the problem on HDD's that had been previously formatted with OS 2.0 Beta 1
I don't do most of my work in the root account...I was just making a comment on the purpose of the program.
But anyway, who can get work done without the internet? It's integral!
Well, if we outsource the Indian teaching jobs to Africa, we can have the Africans teaching the Indians American English! And it'll only be pennies on the dollar! Why didn't we think of this sooner!
The dealers, I can understand, but the junkees? They can't really help it at that point. Anyway, street execution is a bit harsh. At least publicly-televised execution by a more humane method.
That's like saying that somebody who knows he can't die won't do normally life-threatening things. People sometimes throw themselves off buildings because they were told by higher powers that they would fly (usually drug induced dreams, or the likes).
I say that they just create a "cure" for the addictions, something that will get rid of them. You can't undo the damage, but, if people realize the mistake they've made, at least they'd have the ability to stop.
You've got a great point. I mean, a lot of people are going over to FireFox simply because it has tabbed browsing, a feature that Microsoft definitely WON'T be implementing in their next version.
If Microsoft cared how many people used their browser, they'd pay a bit of attention to the user feedback. This whole thing is just a way for them to change corporate policy and get their hands further into the media market.
Hrm...sounds kinda like Slashdot...
Florida? A state? Nah, Cuba came and claimed it their own a few years back. Don't you remember?

Yes, because I really want to send myself into a frozen vacuum inside a craft that cost less than most boats...

Sure, I'll get my work done MUCH faster, now that I can't use the internet...or the computer...
Well, of course, we'd need brain firewalls. Just don't trust anything from McAfee!
Good point there. Somebody would eventually find out...imagine the public reaction, 'specially if the vaccination is payed for by the individual!

They're very well-read bacteria, if that's the case
