Am I the only person who has noticed the Authors name?
Seth Lloyd = Sith Lord
I think we should be very cautious of these findings.

When I read the article, I thought - thats a great device, something to record my life, like a diary.
Then I realised it was conceived as anti violent crime device. Thats so depressing, Its not magic diary, its a bulletproof vest for daily life!
Why are Americans so afraid of violence?
How many good ideas get subverted in the name of personal protection?
I found that really sad..

..why would you want to transfer an incoming call to voip? Surely you make your call that way because its cheaper, but receiving calls... well they already chose to call u that way, their cost...?...unless this has something to do with Americans spending their minutes to receive calls..?

Not sure about the Columbus one, many people would disagree. But it doesnt much interest me. However, The Bell/Meucci thing does - as the post after your rather silly one says, its not that clear - Last week I was at Ericcson in Stockholm, and they showed me their first handsets, based on the work of Meucci..
I for one am particularly impressed by the artists featured on page 44.
:D
Such vision, such beautiful artworks

Bell did not invent the telephone. It was Antonio Meucci!
