Haven't you ever seen the footage shown after the credits of the Iron Man movie? It introduces Nick Fury to Tony Stark! I have no doubt Robert Downey Jr. was under contract for it when he signed up for Iron Man...

I have a hard time believing that anyone would be looking at that thing, and the iPhone, and seriously trying to choose between the two of them. That looks like the complete opposite of what the iPhone tries to achieve.
They might as well go all-out and put a "Type RS" racer sticker on it. At this point, why be subtle about it?
Why would they let the Human Interface Guidelines langush? The consistency of the experience in using a Mac is a big plus.
But, given the number of inconsistencies that have crept into OSX the past few versions, it's completely obvious to see it hasn't been a priority to them.
How is this a surprise in where, in many cases, people are ridiculed or shunned for scholarly pursuits? I am regularly given the raised eyebrow when people find out I don't watch TV or couldn't care less what Paris Hilton or other psuedo-celebs are up to.
I just moved from Washington DC to a small riverfront town in Maryland to start my business. A large component of this decision -- aside from the reduction in stress -- was the ability to function on less money than I could in the city. A new business doesn't make a lot of money, but when your overhead is low you have more time to make it work for you. In the city, my overhead would have been too much. It's also cheaper to buy property in a small town than a city like DC.

I think you generally have to pay extra for that.

Because it's Stuff That Matters. If this shouldn't worry you about the future of this country you haven't been paying attention.
Do you have a link for where these rumors have been discussed before? News to me... welcome news if it's true.

Now I can finally work on that "ringworld" game I've been kicking around in my head...

Must be that arsenic blend I haven't tasted yet. Or box wine, perhaps.
Couldn't the same be said about the Prius?
