I never charge for close friends/family but outside that it used to be £15/hr but it usually depends on what it is. Often from friends/family I end up with a free meal, beer or a favour like fixing my car etc
I suppose that one way to look at it is that, if you know the ways that spam can be made then you may see new and better ways to stop it. Similar to virus writers and hackers who now work for companies finding weaknesses in their security.
It is just a game for heaven's sake! Are there any studies that properly show that exposure to violent games drive people to commit murder?
What aspect of games is it that are resposible for driving people to kill? A guide to how to commit the crime? The ideas that the game suggests? If you look at books for a second they seem to be far more descriptive in both these aspects, especially the guide to how to pull the crime off! Thats part of the suspense in books! Maybe we should be banning or restricting access to them too!
I read about this in about November and went to the site to check about availability to discover that although they covered the area I was in (Glasgow) it would not be active till about Feb.

Also to add my voice to the many Brits comments about connection speeds, "Over 2Mb?!?! For only 40 quid!?! WOW! Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie!!"

No No! You mis-understand. It is a double negative. Banning something illegal, he obviously wants to encourage downloading!
