It's actually a very neat project of creating cross-distro installers that will work on (susposedly) any system, has the ability to install non-root which is really cool! It's still pre 1.0, so they don't want a bazillion packages being created (as the API is currently unstable), but it coming along nicely!
Environmentally friendly? Creating batteries, pens, and producing resistors are not environmentally friendly...I'm not sure what they really mean. Can anybody explain?
Earth is going to have a ring of space crap around it in a few years...
In other news...AOL announced a plan to send thousands of free hours into space. They will be delivered by sending up junk in the shuttle @ 1.5M a launch.
Get the book Linux for Windows Administrators by Mark Minasi and Dan York. (Amazon)
It is really an exelent book with so-called "Cookbooks". They're step-by-step instructions on how to setup DHCP, DNS, Apache, Sendmail, FTP, WINS (I think), and some other stuff I forgot. Even I could figure it out! They were really simple instructions, and, better yet--they really worked!.
So, that's the book I learned from. It's based off RH 7.3, but the instructions worked fine also with Slackware (9-10) and RH 8.
...who have to deal with IT geeks reading Slashdot more than 40 hours a week. Dammit, I used to be able to make money reading slashdot. I'm gonna right my rep!

Damn, I almost got the first post but I was having trouble getting Gecko to work in Konqueror!
Actually, it does run on Linux through Wine. Admittedly, it doesn't work in Konq, but yes, it does run.

What does Intel have to do with the internet? I thought they made chips! I guess I'm wrong. Are they trying to kick ADM out of the "internet" market?
I wonder what the RIAA/MPAA will have to say about this...will they require that the streams be encrypted?
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out with those lawyers.
