As much as I hate to say it, I think most of the open-source community would rather let Microsoft hang itself on the spyware thing. It's not that it's impossible to admin a windows network in such a way as to limit spyware, it's that it's so easy to let things go bad with Windows. In particular, I've had problems with (older) Windows programs that want the user to an administrator before they'll run at all, so now I've got half the network with full administrative (spyware-installing) rights to their machines. I'm sure there was a "right" way to handle the problem, but it wasn't my decision anyway.
I don't know about you guys, but I pay for my cable modem at home and for my hosted space. So where's this free internet that DoubleClick has been serving up for me?
that in most buisinesses you can afford to build your firewalls, mail filters, etc. backwards (block everything but the whitelist). On my company email account, almost all the mail the mail I've actually wanted came from someone within the company or from someone on the outside I was expecting mail from (mom, wife, children).
Perhaps we're all just clinging to a hope of hearing from long lost friends, but only allowing the whitelist is often the best option for me.
I didn't mind episodes 1 & 2 or the 2nd and 3rd matrix movies. You just have to be honest with yourself before you go in the theatre. Accept that the acting and plot may be horrible, and wait patiently for the special effects and fight scenes. It seems that half the purpose of the movie is to have something to talk about whether it be good or bad.
Perhaps he should have RTFB?
Do I know you? A friend of mine said that verbatim. Eh. Case in point I guess.
I'm glad the US government is clearing up for us that any anonymously owned domains MUST be involved in illegal activity.

If Girlfriend=>Cellphone and Cellphone=>tumor and tumor=>death
Then is it true that Girlfriend=>death?
I've always suspected as much...

to see how they do character development for wizards since the Istari more or less have always had their powers.
Sounds like a good plan for an ultra-stealth underwater military base.
Reefs die for many reasons: rising water temperatures, sewage flows, eutrophication, disease, and negligence.
OK, Billy. Explain to me again what you were doing last week when you should have been feeding the reef!!!
I had honestly never heard of XSN before reading this article. Perhaps that's part of the problem?

A Gmail litestep module would be a nice step in that direction. It could even be combined with one of the current news-feed modules.
This game should be easy, just build your candidate around honesty and fairness and the political machine will bow down to you, right? ...right?
