    It's already out there, and it's called bittorent.

    Actually it isn't, and I would be more than happy to pay about four cents a song from a place that had everything, as you say, and in good quality, normalized volume, etc. No problem.


    Unfortunately I've felt the same way for over a decade now, and the stupid motherfuckers still haven't figured it out.

    I had considered that, too, but on the other hand I don't think it's necessarily dishonorable to try not to get caught.

    After all, they might remain in a position to actually do something about it by staying where they are.

    Somehow these non-lethal weapons scare me more than more lethal ones. Because they are perceived as "lesser" weapons, they get used more often.

    And we don't need to be using weapons on each other more often, but less.

    That being said, I know for a fact that you're understanding of human nature is woefully incomplete. You say that we should just tackle corruption as it happens--fair enough. But what happens when the corrupt become so powerful that the people are physically unable to tackle said corruption? This has happened many times in the past--Saddam's Iraq is actually a very good example.

    I know it's cliche, but this is something the framers of the USA constitution understood very well. Some men will always seek power over others--and will use any convenient means to do so.

    Bear in mind, encryption doesn't necessarily help all that much. They still have source and destination information for your packets.
    So they know who is talking to who.

    My friend, 10 years ago they wouldn't have done this. They have had to be shamed into it. And even now they only do it so there are no great propaganda tools to be used against them.


    Most big corps end up being run by sociopaths who really don't care about anyone but themselves. But they are smart, and know how to make things palatable to normal poeople.
