It's really very simple. The whole region's culture is fundamentally tribal in its nature. Differening tribes are squabling over percieved values. Often values overlap because historically it's the same people (semites). These conflicts had been in existence over thousands of years. The British Empire, and then later the United States didn't help much, but that's after the fact and the most recent excuse for the current chain of events.
You may not want to see it, but you do. After some time on this planet it becomes appearant without the need to be spoon fed information. This is history repeating itself, and non of this is really that exotic.
I hate to break this to you, but the world isn't ideal and it's not how it works. Besides, the whole concept of telling people what they can or cannot *see* or *hear* is absolutely asinine. Only people who don't agree seem to be the same people who can't get it through their thick skulls that they're fighting human nature and reality as a whole.
Way to dodge the question. I actually admitted nothing and asked what AT&T was fined. Appearantly that wasn't clear enough so I will restate it just for you... what amount did AT&T get fined?
I really really really hope that you, one day, will get to experience this for youself. I really hope that you will be the one having to find that lawyer pro-bono, having to convince him to pick your case out of his pool of paying clients, convince him to bring less to his family, and convince him that you are worth his time. I'd love to see you "go find a lawyer" under those circumstances. Otherwise you're an armchair quarterback yelling at the TV... full of shit.
Well done, you've just proved his point that porn needs to be restricted in some way.
How, exactly?
If the logical conclusion of absolute free speech is having strange adults fucking in front of children at a kindergarten, then your premise is flawed.
Care to explain how one follows from the other? Again, separate bed chambers are relatively recent. So, not only is this the logical conclusion, it's a historical data point. Are you ignoring it because it's inconvenient for your point of view?
Define "minor"
it's the blanket 24/7 potentiality of being immersed in bizarre porn
This is why YOU'RE the sick fuck here, not the people fucking. Honestly, is this where your mind is going? WTF? Worse still, you project that sick shit onto others. If you need to stop someone from anything, look in the fucking mirror.
I don't work with it. Never written a single line of code for it. This is not a WP specific concept. Modules (plugins, or anything of that nature) are incomplete peices of software regardless of platform.
The big bang theory is nothing more than the best model we have that best fits observations. It is YOUR assumption we take it on faith, because you're incapable of understanding the world through different eyes. We, on the other hand, are simply using it as a *tool* to probe into the nature of space and time, trying to actually figure out what really happened, instead of putting our hands up saying "big bang did it". Bury this notion of faith, please, as it stands in your way of actually comprehending what you're reading, which, sadly, is basically what you want to read, and not what's written.
I'm sorry, this is bullocks. There are literally tens of thousands of modules out there. Some are solid, others are not. I'm not about to do a grep of code a good 99% of people out there never even use. You've made a pretty wholistic claims about "modules". Well, I've been reading enough module code, specifically the ones that tend to linger on 100k+ sites or so (views, panels, context, ds, rules, to name a few), and you know what? One word for you. Bullshit. Go ahead, and please find that DB specific code in any of those. Only way I can think of for you to get into that pickle you describe is consistenly choosing obscure modules no one actually maintains, at which point I'd have to say you need to actually study this beast first.
Look, there's nothing special about my ability to get dropped off into an unfamiliar source file and figuring out what's what. Almost never had that happened without studying the broader concepts of the host system (context). It's not that I disagree with you, nor am I trying to be a dick about it, you're just wrong in your assumption that these files are incomplete (and therefore incomprehensible -- they are neither one nor the other -- you lack the knowledge available to you freely).
I love both, to be honest Drupal and RoR. These arguments are asenine and have no merit in reality. I actually opened this thread for the shits and giggles of all the knee jerk reactions people seem to fall for every time. Most amusing is how quickly they are ready to show the flabbergasting ignorance on their parts about the reality of the platform. All this is said without an once of zealotry and with complete lack of praise, I actually do not even have to.
Yes, you're right. If it was not invented here, than it's obviously inferior and must be redone such that no other human eyes have ever had a chance to scrutinize it.
I just love these unfounded claims of inconprehensibility. Thank you for letting us know that you didn't actually bother reading the code you don't understand. We now know why you found it incomprehensible. Unfortunately it's just because you keep yourself willfully ignorant. All I can say is, if you really can't read that code, you have no business programming. I say this as a nobody who took 10 minutes out of my day to understand what the hell I'm dealing with... you know, actually study it before saying shit.
Before you call others "idiot" perhaps you should actually understand what they're saying, idiot.

Have you ever lived anywhere in that region? I have. Same shit, different pile.

Only one message for this from me: Go fuck yourself, Assad. We know what you're up to.

Actually, he's not willing to pay the costs of THEIR choices, not his. To have a choice one must have a voice, or do you have an agenda to push?
Unless you concider the bridge they have to Python...
I can't think of a single subject that we were able to "finish" studying. So, I'm unsure how this is supposed to be interperted.
You missed the forest for the trees.
Why? You aren't able to read?
Fortunately, people make amateur porn too, where the wives are married, and no one gives a shit about the camera guy.
How, exactly?

Are you actually suggesting that it is scientific to stop studying that which we do not comprehend?
* require context. long day. :)
