    If what I think is going is going on you may see an exodus, unless developing for the platform, yes serious people do use Mac's, however I am not going to move to Lion even if it is only $29.

    That's what Lion is, the start of a dumbing down of Apple's software basically making it iOS on a desktop/laptop platform, because everyone knows serious computer users don't use Mac's, it's moving to consumer (read cattle) only. /me braces for the inevitable Pro Apple backlash.

    Actually the comment wasn't directed at the "parent" it was directed to the squasher.
    I can't can't say that gradual dissipation of tectonic pressures using a fracking like method is a bad idea, I really can't because it has *some* merit.

    EVEN WITH A MAJOR EARTHQUAKE OCCURING because of "fracking" it's a non-issue compared to the damage done to the water table by the chemicals used in the process, toxic for centuries afterwards.

    Yeah maybe the only thing worse than a bad idea (which I'm not so sure it was bad) is someone that squashes without a moments consideration of said idea.

    If you bought your computer from Dell or HP you have failed a test and should go back to sitting in front of the TV.
    If Microsoft had any minerals in their management they would've put an end to all the crap that gets loaded on these Dell's and HP's so that their OS would actually run correctly.

    9 times out of ten when i help someone with their computer I advised formatting and installing only the OS, then add only what you need, the rest is bloat and crapware.

    Most devs make crap apps, there's a glut of useless apps, if you consider the platform and what it is likely to be used for there are really few apps that you need or would want to use on a device with the physical size of a phone.
    There are plenty of games if you're into games, but only a relative handful of useful applications that are well written, so who ever gets their "useful" app out first and catches the "word of mouth" market wins.

    Honestly, I only need or can use 1 fart app, yet there are dozens.

    Was it designed to do that? Is it that granular? What an absurd question from my perspective, I suggest you read up on some details here, the majority of the top dogs knew exactly what they were doing and made money going up then while it was going down as well, then asked for a bail out.
    There are several books on this, plenty of in depth coverage, so shut off FOX and read a book.
