sorry, but your wrong because of poor word choice. There is a difference in being immortal and living forever. Immortal, by definition, means that you CANNOT die. As humans who live forever, we would not be immortal, because, as you pinted out, we could die if we jumped off a cliff or choice not to eat or drink, or the like.
Scientists are full of it. They think they are so high and mighty and that they can solve all of our problems. How many times have they been wrong in history? Is the world flat?
I talk to many people about immortality and many (most?) don't even want to. They see all of the problems in the world with war, crime and other violence, why would they want to live forever in a world like this? The only true solution to man's problems is in God's kingdom that the Bible shows us will solve all of our problems, weather it be in violence or lifespan.
Booo on you. OS X rocks for many reasons. I'm not saying it is better than Linux, but definately competes with it quite well, IMHO. Your comment that even windows is better is completely Bogus. In Os X everything just works. You don't have to worry about having to install drivers for things that should work without one (Something I have trouble on windows with ALL of the time), and the interface is just worlds ahead of Windows, and even kde, IMHO.
What are you talking about?! Th Gimp, while not up to the standards of photoshop, is great for the price (free) and even as someone who uses and loves Photoshop, I recomend The Gimp to people who are looking for a cheap good, image editior. It is even better in it's V2 stage now as it actually is stable in it's windows version, making the average user able to use it.
Wrong. RAW is a blanket term for all of the types of files that take their information directly off of the ccd/cmos to give the most control later. Nikon has nef, canon has crw and there are many others
Your iBook should work quite well with an existing windows network/printer. Even if there are no mac drivers for the printer, you can set up printer sharing on the window side and still access it from the mac (I think you wont need any special drivers for this, but I could be wrong, most modern printers have mac drivers anyway). As far as the network goes, osx integrates quite easily.

wow, that was a revelation
Your camera uses the digic prcessor made by canon. All recent Canon cameras do.

Why? I think the Gimp coontains everything a shlashdotter loves in software: Free, Open-source, and just about as good as similar expensive software.

Yup. I would havbe to say that this is worse than SCO! At least their case is something that hasn't really been addressed bfr!
