I actually agree with this article. Im in 8th grade and my grades are definatly worse because of my computer but, heres why, it's because im spending all of my time learning to program in java instead of doing homework. So, sure my grades have dropped but im learning much much more and making myself much more prepaired for the job that i've wanted since i was ten which is to be a software engineer for a game company (i.e. epic, atari, obsidian, bioware, lucas arts, blizzard etc.) so i think ive made a good trade off (plus its more fun).
