my husband and i are clan gamers. mostly battlefield 2 for us and the rest of our clan plays everything from WoW, GuildWars, i've even seen them playing StarCraft.
our clan caters to the older crowd. my husband is 47, and he's not the oldest member of the clan.

sure we do have younger people playing with us, but thier mostly very respectful.
to be honest, i really do not think gaming is strictly for the youngin's, nor is gaming strictly gender bound. for the longest time i thought i was the only woman playing FPS games untill very recently.
stop by the site, were always looking for new recruits.
i know i'm going to get yelled at for getting the site/.ed but thats ok, they will forgive me eventually.
i know what you mean, the last time my husband and i went to the show we ended up spending $75 CDN for the evening.
funny thing is, we could have rented another movie and watched it in the comfort of our own home, on our own theater (which does get down to 28Hz thanks to 4 12" subs and a decent HTPC). we could have had our own booze, smoked our weed during the show, and have a make out session. but we though we would try something different..... what a waste of money.
like wtf?!?!? who are they trying to kid? a medium pop a small popcorn and a bag of nibs is $18?!?!?!
not to mention the rude people that go to the theater now, cell phones ringing, people talking loudly, sticky floors, seats, everything....
well, i have a closed loop system not unlike the OP, but i power mine with my sled dogsrunning on a tredmill. it takes lots of sled dogs to keep a 5 bedroom igloo from melting in this heat.
Well, it was 2:30Am when i posted, but i guess everyone has to be a smartass with perfect grammar and spelling no matter what the hour, even when posting as AC, idiot.
my huband and I live in a big city in canada (dont laff we think thier big...) lots of ambient light about, but the aurora was very bright and as you described, they danced and changed colours over and over again.
Quite the spectical.
We see them more frequently than our southern friends, but mostly in bright greens and blues.
i guess that would explain the light show we saw up here in western canada tonight, very vibrant greens, blues, yellows violets and all dancing like mad.
I wonder if anyone else in the world is getting them as well?
