A more careful reviewer might have deduced from Blunden's references to "our society's class structure" right at the start of the book that he's an out-and-out socialist, which certainly colors his analysis.
Want prescription antibiotics without a prescription? Go to pretty much any animal feed store in rural America and you'll find a fine selection of antibiotics for your cow, horse, or whatever. No prescription required. Gotta figure out the dose yourself, though, if you were (hypothetically) gonna give them to some other species.
The offer to sell the source code wasn't "posted on the group's Web site", no matter what Enterprise Security Today claims. It was done via a newsgroup posting. Go read it if you want to actually learn what the Source Code Club says about communicating and paying them anonymously, instead of reading rubbish written by lazy journalists whose legal departments won't let them link to interesting things.
Fabian Pascal was a flaming asshole on every database-related forum on CompuServe 15 years ago. He was always posting about how he was right and everyone else was wrong, and about how his opponents were just stupid. Nice to see that in this ever-changing world there is a rock of stability.

TSR jumped the shark not long after the release of Chainmail (which I still own the original spiral-bound rule book for), you young whippersnapper.
Amen. Sing it, brother!
