Red Hat Linux, By Appointment To Her Majesty The Queen.

Well - not immediately. To get the official "By Appointment to HRH" one has to have been a regular supplier to the Royal Family for over 3 years.

Oh, and you still have to actually apply for it too :-)

Finally, it's issued to a named individual rather than an organisation.

However, it must be nearly time for someone within the Apache group to apply.... even when on Solaris HRH was using Apache.

  2. Best Guinness Roles on Obi-Wan speaks out against franchise · · Score: 1

The best Guinness I have ever seen was his portrayal of George Smiley in Le Carre's "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" and later "Smiley's People". Made-for-TV as 6-part series' rather than films, these BBC productions may not be well known across the Big Pond in the USA....

Given the sheer acting quality shown in of some of his roles, it doesn't really surprise me to see him sick of Star Wars.

  5. Re:OTP is an NP-hard problem? on When Pretty Good Privacy Isn't Good Enough · · Score: 1

More to the point, if you use a OTP (emphasis on the "ONE"in One-Time-Pad) more than once, you compromise it.... the whole concept as presented in this site (as in "use the same OTP many times") is fundamentally flawed.

I wonder if it is a troll?
