But as far as putting bank info to purchase info the stores don't have access to that. Otherwise they wouldn't need their 'loyalty cards'.
The trick here is to get a 'loyalty card' and not fill in the info. I don't have a facebook account or any social media junk except google+ and LinkedIn.

When the text of your religion requires you to go to war with anyone that does not believe as you it's very hard to relax around those members whether they have a moderate view or not. You have absolutely no means to tell the difference until after you have been blown up.
Regardless of whether it's a loss or not it would set a precedent that if MS sold something and decided later they wanted to charge more then they could theoretically get away with removing said software or billing you the difference between what you paid and how much more they think you should pay.
Any company could get away with it actually. There's no contractual information that says they can't come back to you for more money later.
