    I am not sure what you find bizarre here. Why would you think real people should be covered by copyright protection? the characters have no rights, the owners of the art have the rights, i.e. real people.

    You don't need to have a monopoly for price fixing to be illegal. they could be a 1% market share and it would still be illegal. They have no right to interfere with the carriers pricing except to dictate the price that they sell to the carrier at and even that has to be on fair and equitable terms.

    No you aren't. All countries are NOT equal, some governments provide healthcare, wealthfare and many other services that cost money. Countries could only compete on an equal footing if they all had an equal cost basis. The only logical and sane solution at this point in time is to force companies to pay the taxes where the customers are based.

    If you see a brand name or logo in a movie or TV you can be damn well certain they are paying for it. Product placement is not given away for free and the editors will take special care to edit out names and brands of items that haven't paid for product placement.

    What arse backwards countries use money made of paper? money is generally stored electronically nowadays, some is printed on plastic or cotton materials for convenience but that is certainly only one form it can take and not the definitive one.

    whether it is his job or not it is true. There will ALWAYS be new vulnerabilities discovered, even the best reviewed, best written software will have bugs and XP isn't either of those. if people are still using it to access the internet they SHOULD BE doing panicked upgrades.

    You honestly have not dealt with much malware. Most of it is atrociously written and more often then not only detected because it chews up system resources or causes crashes. only a tiny percentage of malware is written well.

    It isn't the worst possible thing because of its detection rate. It is the worst possible thing because of the impact it has on a system, many cases the impact is worse than what it is protecting against, add to that the intrusive annoying nature of the product and you get something that is like chopping your legs off to avoid stubbing your toes.

    you have to go back a few years to find such a huge drop in currency value. 20-50% drops and rises in BTC are a DAILY occurance. It is closer to a stock or a commodity than it is a currency.

    nothing much has changed in 5 years that would make working from home any harder on such a link. Unless he is into high end photo or video editing it just means it is slow to surf utube during breaks. I CURRENTLY regularly work via a 500kbps link and it is perfectly fine, most people have an overinflated view of what you actually require for bandwidth which has come from multimedia intensive sites and streaming video.

    If they use the scanners correctly they are actually a fantastic tool for police. allows them to actually target stolen cars, unregistered drivers, suspended drivers etc far better at a far lower cost to the tax payer than pulling over every car. They use them here in Australia very effectively.
